Product Description

Vegetal light, petrochemical-free

These tealight candles are made from 100% natural soy wax, extracted from soybeans and refined without toxic solvents. Unlike paraffin - a petroleum derivative that burns with dense smoke and releases chemical compounds into the air - soy wax burns cleanly, without soot and without volatile residues.

Each candle is hand-poured, in small batches, with attention to temperature and solidification time. The tealight shape ensures universal compatibility with standard holders and a uniform burn, without cracks or thermal deformation. The flame is stable, gentle, and requires no constant adjustments.

Slow burn, no dense emissions

Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin or beeswax (approximately 45-50°C). This means it melts faster but burns slower and more completely, without leaving waxy deposits on the container walls.

Smoke is almost non-existent. The burn is clean. There is no chemical smell or stuffy air sensation. Soy wax is biodegradable and decomposes naturally in the environment, leaving no petroleum traces.

Aromatically neutral, compatible with botanical fumigation

Soy wax has no perceptible scent in its solid state and releases only a very discreet, vegetal fragrance during burning. This makes it suitable for:

Its constant flame provides the necessary heat source for controlled fumigation, without masking or distorting the aroma of the burned botanical materials.

Plant wax, not petroleum

Soy wax is obtained by hydrogenating soybean oil. The process transforms liquid oil into a solid, thermally stable form suitable for candle making. Unlike paraffin - which is a residue of petroleum refining - soy wax is a renewable resource, derived from agriculture.

It is considered the eco-friendly alternative to classic paraffin candles, being:

  • biodegradable - decomposes naturally in the environment
  • petrochemical-free - does not contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
  • renewable - comes from agricultural crops, not finite fossil resources

Soy wax is not perfectly neutral in terms of agricultural impact (industrial soy raises concerns about deforestation and intensive monoculture), but it remains a cleaner option than paraffin for burning in enclosed spaces.

Composition & Purity

100% natural soy wax

No paraffin, no animal stearin, no synthetic fragrances or dyes.

The wax comes from responsibly grown soy, processed without toxic solvents, and hand-poured into pellet shapes.

Ritual of use
  1. Place the candle in a stable, heat-resistant holder.
  2. Light it and allow the flame to stabilize.
  3. For fumigation: place the ritual holder above the candle, adjust the distance for gentle heating.
  4. Do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours continuously.
  5. Ventilate the area after extinguishing.

The candle burns cleanly and does not require intense supervision, but it should not be left unattended.

Provenance

Natural soy wax, obtained by hydrogenating soybean oil, hand-poured into pellet molds.

The process is simple: controlled melting, pouring, natural solidification. No chemical additives, no bleaching, no excessive refining.

Warnings & precautions

- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Use on stable, heat-resistant surfaces.
- Do not light near flammable materials.
- Avoid drafts that can cause uneven burning.
- Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too large or smokes excessively.
- Melted wax can be hot - allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
